Renee stopped by the Ellen Show to talk about her new role as Judy Garland in the upcoming biopic.

Renée Zellweger discussed with Ellen what it was like getting into character to play Judy Garland in the new movie, “Judy.” The star admitted to getting real stage fright, and how it was good that she was able to capture a real representation of Judy’s fatigue by using prosthetic makeup.

I’m doubtful this message will make it to, Ms. Zellweger; but, you never know. I watched her promoting a new project via an interview on, “Late Night”. I was impressed with her fondness for the, Carter family… I’m from Houston and just wanted to ask if she’s ever this way, I would like to treat her to a glass of tea and conversation…

@JudyGarlandFilm . Judy Garland was my wonderful dad’s favourite and I remember him crying when she passed away. He even named the family dog after her! He watched all her films. Looking forward to watching this film in memory of them. Well done Renée. If ever you’re passing Milton Keynes, UK, you’re welcome to a cup of English tea lol….
